When AfroPunk rolls around, it’s the one weekend each year where black and brown beauties from near and far gather in public and feel at home. The celebration of melanin is encouraged. Afros, natural hair, and nipples are set free. And at it’s core, it serves as a reaffirmation of the power that our community holds when the minority/majority complex is flipped. Our businesses thrive, we uplift one another, make amazing music, and look damn good while doing it all.
