Often times, we try to pair emotions and moments we’ve experienced with words that we hope paint a vivid picture. In the case of last night’s sold out show at The Gramercy Theatre — Australian “neo/future-soul” Hiatus Kaiyote rendered many in the crowd speechless. Singer, Nai Palm masterfully weaved her way through the intricate and ever-changing progressions of her master class band.  Screams of amazement and elation were all some could muster while others sang their hearts out and tried to keep rhythm.

Seeing as how words rarely articulate the proper feel of a concert, we’ve decided to let the audience and the band speak for themselves:

Hiatus Kaiyote’s second LP “Choose Your Weapon” is out today — Stream it below after the photos.
