At around 12:30 a.m. the door opened, and the crowd shuffled into the back room of Baby’s All Right as Low Cut Connie promptly took the stage. What followed was one of the most high energy live shows in recent memory; an endlessly entertaining performance that had everyone in the room dancing from the get-go. The band’s songs embody a range of influences, meshing both British and Southern rock with a barroom honky-tonk. Singer Adam Weiner slams down on his piano and moves about the stage, provoking the audience to embrace his suggestive nature while Daniel Finnemore and the rest of the band rock out all around him.

Go see this band play… No matter the hour, they will not disappoint.

Be sure to check out their brand-new album Hi Honey, produced by Thomas Brenneck (Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones, Charles Bradley, Alabama Shakes). Featuring appearances by Merrill Garbus (Tune-Yards), Dean Ween, Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound), and members of the Dap Kings and The Budos Band.
