The Dodos, a giant whirlwind of emotions, complex percussions, and wicked-fast finger picking, stormed the stage at The Music Hall of Williamsburg on Friday night to play a dauntless, career-spanning set list that gradually took off from a hum to a howl in a matter of seconds. And as I found my place in the front of the stage with a camera in one hand and a plastic cup filled with possible inebriation in the other, the band played a handful of tunes corrupted by idiosyncratic time signatures fetching enough to keep every soul in the audience completely hypnotized.
