The Orwells, a rock band out of Elmhurst, Illinois came out to a diverse crowd ready for fuel at the Metro in Chicago on March 16, 2017. The previous acts had brought a quick fix of adrenaline to the overly anxious crowd who are now awaiting a full dose. Mario Cuomo, the lead singer, appears with a gold sequin blazer and long blonde locks hiding his menacing face. He knows that the the crowd is ready to rage at the whisper of a lyric and strum of a chord. The Orwells waste no time before beginning to thrash on stage sending the audience into a desired fury. Hours later, coming to a close, the audience departed from the sweat filled crowd and passionate performance.
