New Orleans marijuana advocate and MC Curren$y has been working consistently since 2002 after signing with No Limit Records. Since then, Curren$y continues making music frenetically, dropping a mixtape every month. When he came to Nashville, I had to catch his show.
The Concert was a really dope experience, one of my favorites. I was very surprised at the crowd and how much they enjoy Curren$y, With songs dated back from his YouTube days before getting noticed.Curren$y himself said to the Nashville crowd ” y’all been fucking with me since then? I fucking love y’all” As the crowd continues to sing & rap every word to every song. I was also surprised from the opening acts of Nashville’s own Scoolie & Burman free. Burman opened up to me, saying it was a true blessing to be on tour with his favorite rapper.
