Big Something arrived on the scene in 2009 and has since taken the music scene by storm with their high energy performances and wide breadth of genres and tones under their belt. The American based alternative rock band is based in Burlington, North Carolina going from their original name ‘Anonymous’ to their current name Big Something. This evening they dropped into NYC for their second visit at Arlene’s Grocery, which has served lower Manhattan as a live music club for decades, welcoming all levels of artist far and wide.

Big Something took to the stage and immediately electrified the crowd with great energy and excellent, crisp sound. As their name suggests, their sound is BIG- with horns and keys meshing with folksy vocals and funk/blues riffs. Big Something performed fan favorites, and even a couple new songs from their upcoming album Tumbleweed due out on Feb. 24, 2017.
