The month of October has been a wild roller coaster of Concerts in the City of Boston. Someone must have told The Record Company and Muddy Magnolias that there has been some powerful performances recently played in and around the area, because they played with purpose. They both brought the house down at the Sinclair in their own respective styles. Muddy Magnolias brought soul and some nashville twang with some big city attitude, while The Record Company kicked some heavy Rock and Roll prowess even though this is their first headlining tour. They played mostly every song of their debut album “Give It Back to You” with a surprise Beastie Boys cover. Highlights included, harmonicas, slide guitars and some really witty and personal banter between front man Chris Vos and the Boston crowd. I can’t wait to see where both of these bands are in a year from now.
